Broom House Farm
What a fantastic day at the farm! Year 3 were lucky enough to visit Broom House Farm for the second time. This trip was extra special because it is lambing season. It was so interesting to learn that sheep can only look after and feed two lambs so the farmers are able to make sure that all of the lambs are taken care of by pairing them with another sheep.
In the afternoon, we went to the adventure forest and had a brilliant time climbing and zip lining. We can’t wait to visit Broom House Farm again in the summer!
Sky Class have celebrated World Book Day 2025 in style! We have dressed as our favourite book characters and shared our love of books with friends. We have taken part in a show and tell, answering questions from the audience. Some of us have entered a ‘dress the potato’ competition! KS2 held a parade, which was so much fun! We got to show the whole school our beautiful outfits. We watched a live lesson to celebrate the day and created a book of love, linked to our chosen text. Happy World Book Day!
